      <image:caption>Nandi Segbedzi grew up in the industrial western suburbs of Melbourne and very nearly became an engineer, like her father. She retains a fascination for how things – and people – work. Nandi commenced her legal career at Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst), just in time to observe industrial relations history being made in the Patricks Dispute in 1998. In her downtime, Nandi keeps herself busy with her young son, dairy-free cooking and running (when shin splints permit). She is also a Board member of Abbeyfield Australia Ltd, a national social housing provider for older people and the intellectually disabled.</image:caption>
